2020 Daytona 200 Qualifying Night

Qualifying Night for the 2020 Daytona 200 is this Saturday night (February 15th) at 9:30pm ET and will set the grid for next Saturday's Daytona 200 presented by Patch (February 22nd).

The format will be as follows for this weekend...

Daytona 200 Qualifying

- Set's front row for the 200 and starting grid for both qualifying races.
- Drivers must stay in the server while times are recorded after each round they compete, if a time is lost due to a driver leaving they forfeit the time.

Round 1
- Standard in-game single car qualifying session for all drivers.
- Top half fastest drivers will advance to Round 2. (If we have 9 or 10 drivers, 5 will move on to Round 2.)

Round 2
- Standard in-game single car qualifying session for fastest half drivers from Round 1.
- Re-set's top drivers times in qualifying, top 2 set grid for the 200 (Pole and Outside Pole Sitter).


Daytona 200 Qualifier Races

- All drivers from single-car qualifying must start their qualifier race or their times will be forfeited.
- Pole and outside pole sitters must start their qualifying race to maintain the time/position or it will be forfeited.

Race 1
- Odd-numbered cars from single-car qualifying.
- Finishing order will re-order the odd-numbered grid positions for the 200 (inside line) with the exception of the pole sitter.

Race 2
- Even-numbered cars from single-car qualifying.
- Finishing order will re-order the even-numbered grid positions for the 200 (outside line) with the exception of the P2, outside pole, sitter.
- Late drivers may join the rear of the field in Qualifier Race 2.

Drivers who do not take part in Qualifying Night will need to start at the rear of the grid for the 2020 Daytona 200 and will incur a 10 point penalty.
