Hi Red,

Looking at the replay I can see Elliot caught the apron which sent him up into you. Because there were two cars out of control, if one of you would have called it out as a multi-car - I would have called a caution for this. I really rely on you guys letting me know when there is an incident, especially when there is no Official nearby, as I can't see everything and can't always flip through the field without wrecking everyone (I am unfortunately not that skilled).

As I've told you, I do not believe BK was trying to use the wrong car intentionally. Prior to the race he did change to the correct car. Had he started in the incorrect car model because we didn't catch it, he would have been DQ'd following the race after it was checked. Paints (tex files) also don't always tell the whole story, due to the number of "carsets" in the G3 mod - we now allow overlapping car tex numbers between Cup and National Series. Many drivers setup separate mods for these, I do not, which means sometimes cars do look incorrect and I'll see a cup paint on a national car or visa versa.

The incident at the Cup Welcome race is still under review, but I will say personally - it does not look intentional in any way and being on the team channel at the time I can say I do not believe it was intentional. There was a significant speed drop that led to bad situation.

On the team side of things, I would never be a part of team orders to wreck someone. If I knew about it, I assure you it would be penalized appropriately, I'm not one to let intentional actions (even my own) go unpunished. You have to remember that not everyone has the same skill level or necessarily the same skill level at each track type. We encourage everyone to participate in our league and hope that they will learn the skills they don't have. Additionally sometimes racing incidents simply occur, and I get it - rivalries happen, sometimes because of a simple racing incident or series of unintentional racing incidents (I spent years battling and fighting with bover907 in NHRL only for the both of us to realize it was over nothing and we simply ended up as equal competitors/skill levels and went on to have some great tough but respectful races).

I will also post on here what I've told you and others who have reported cheating, I have no reason to believe any cheating is occurring. I know what it possible and what can be done and how it can be done - we have checks in place to ensure it is not occurring.

--

We review which models drivers utilize during an event via the log to ensure this does not occur. During the National race everyone was in the xfcm or xffd models, both approved for that series.

Also, any modifications (differences) made to those model names on a driver's PC would generate a cheater message from the server as it compares the model the driver has to the one that exists on the server and on other driver's PC's.

Because we're using a multi-mod (carset) mod it can be challenging for some people to select the proper car model (.car file). It occasionally does happen and is corrected during pre-race practices.

I can assure you that we have checks in place that prevent what you are saying from happening. We will not begin a race with any server cheater messages popping up - there was an exception made during the Stadium Truck Series finale due to the confusion over the Tow truck model what had several different versions floating around from earlier in the season - this was very unique.

We do not encourage anyone to race utilizing the wrong model as it is not permitted. If anyone is found manipulating model files, something that would clearly be intentional, they would not be permitted to race.

Red, I'm sorry the racing has been a wreckfest for speedweeks. First and most important to remember is that it is a plate track. Which comes along with so many factors that other venues don't have. Like everyone racing so close together. I get frustrated every speedweeks with the "poor" decisions made by me and every other driver at some point during practice and the race that results in a wrecked vehicle. Personally I chose to be very aggressive @Daytona this year. I know I wrecked BK once for sure and almost wrecked him on a restart when we were both on the front row. He hasn't said a word about it and hopefully he writes it off to just another race. Stick around Red, I've recently seen some speed from you in a few series. Sometimes two drivers seem to always be caught up with each other.

You were a threat for the win at Pocono LCH. So not all draft races are so bad either haha.
