I wasn't there, but I watched Bobby's vid from it. Tire wear ok? Setup ok? |

Setup was tight, especially when you got out of the racing groove. Speedy reported a yellow RF at the end of the race. - Bandit

Race was good, would have been better personally if I hadn't knocked the front end off in the first few laps lol. A little freeing up of the setup wouldn't hurt. |

Loved it! Some good close racing with top four. Had a blast with Putz. I too feel the set up was a little tight but I'm used to it having run the supermods here a lot. As long as you don't say we can't run the apron for the slip n slide, dip n dive, it is managable. The ability to use the apron to loosen the car up some helped as much as having the apron to use as the tires wore and the push became greater towards end of race. Tire wear for me wasn't horrible. Gearing was about perfect although I think 4th-5th should be a little closer. Seemed like some draft here to me although Speedy and Bandit didn't think there was much. Just seems like Putz and I were able to work together to pull back up to Speedy and Bandit, but maybe it was their tires being worn out as they battled for the lead. << Edited on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 3:40pm EST. >> "Keep It Wing Side Up & Wheels to the Ground!"

I think there is a tiny bit of draft, but the only reason it worked was because speedy and bandit were racing hard side by side up front. I think that was as much of or more of a factor than the draft. The setup allowed for some tight battles, although if you messed up a turn you were pretty much done unless the person in front screwed up. Driver of the #46 TMS Wolfpack Chevrolet
