After 26 races HARDCORE MOTORSPORTS has a Cup Series Champion. There were 6 different race
winners and 6 different pole winners and 7 chase drivers. The racing was competitive right from the
start of the season. The first two HMS events Charlotte and Martinsville were commanded by,
Donaldson, the driver of the 5 car would take the pole and victory in both events, he would also wrack
up 5 pole and 5 wins in the 2012 cup series season. Patch would be our next winner of an HMS event
scoring in at Miami he also grabbed the pole for this event and the next one at Chicagoland. The next
winner would be T-Bone, he would win 9 regular series races and snag at least 5 poles on his way to
the first Hardcore Motorsports cup series championship. The next winner of an event wouldn't be
until Rookiesrock would roll into Thunder Valley. That was one of the best HMS races of the season
Rookiesrock would lead for 45 laps but T-Bone would lead for 46 both drivers had very fast laps in the race
Rookiesrock ran a 15.053 as T-Bone ran a 15.008, so yo can see what kind of a race that was. 15 races into the regular season we had two drivers emerge from the pack to say "Hey I'm here". BlackKnight would get the pole at the "monster mile" running a 22.404. Breeze would win the 100 laps event at Dover winning his first race in HMS Cup competition. One of the shorted races of the series was at Michigan the race ran for 35:29.349 at 50 laps. Hardcore Motorsports would have its 6 race winner of the season, DusterLag, showed them how it was done at the 2 mile oval and would be the last different driver to win a race. The last driver who made the chase would be the number 9 Chevy driven by Dracin. He would make the chase on finishing positions. He was the only driver to be in the top 3 in points without winning a race. He would start last in the chase but end in 3rd in overall points when all was said and done. ALL drivers part and full time did a great job in abiding by the HMS rules and "gentlemen" rules you all should be commended. I personally thank all of you who raced in any Hardcore Motorsports races, without you this would not be possible. Please check the forum for any new site modifications there will also be some Voting on the forum to see which mod YOU want to race in next so please cast a vote!!
Thanks everyone and we hope to see all of you next Cup series as well as all other HMS events.God Bless ya all and ....See ya tracks
