Spike powered to victory Wednesday evening at The Homer Valley Grand Prix, race one of the 2014-15 Touring Car season, after holding KartRacer63 off by just three seconds. Spike captured the pole award and led the all ten laps of the race. KartRacer63 put pressure on Spike throughout the race and captured the fastest lap award during the chase. puttzracer followed in third with Patch and DusterLag rounding out the top five.
Spike begins the season with a four points lead over KartRacer63 in the driver championship standings with eight drivers within eleven points of the lead. TMS Wolfpack leads the team standings by four points over NH Autosport while Cadillac picked up the victory and leads the manufacturer championship.
