Patch Conserves Fuel & Captures Philip J. Fry Daytona 100 Victory


Patch captured the 2014-15 National Series opener victory Friday night after conserving fuel and taking the lead on the final lap. Patch picked up the Hard Charger award and drove by DusterLag and Breeze in turn four as they sputtered at the Philip J. Fry Daytona 100. DusterLag sputtered across the line second followed by Breeze sputtering in third. Donaldson captured the pole award and led several laps throughout the night but had to make a second pit stop for fuel leaving him fourth. ltfireman1604 followed in fifth. KartRacer63 led the most laps of the night but finished seventh after running low on fuel.

Patch begins the season with a four point lead over Donaldson and DusterLag for the driver championship. Ten drivers are within eleven points of the lead. Twisted Metal leads the team championship by four points over TMS Wolfpack and NH Autosport who are tied while Chevrolet picks up their first win and leads the manufacturer championship.
