KartRacer63 captured victory at the Leela Iowa 70 Friday night after sweeping the awards. KartRacer63 captured the pole award, ran the fastest lap of the race and led the most laps, 77 of 80. Patch held onto the lead lap to finish second after starting sixth. Grumpy followed in third and picked up the Hard Charger Award while ltfireman1604 and Breeze rounded out the top five.
KartRacer63 jumps up to tie with Patch for the championship lead with a eight point lead over Breeze and DusterLag. Donaldson drops from second to tenth after missing the event. NH Autosport takes the team championship lead from Twisted Metal and leads by two points. Chevrolet picks up their second win and leads the manufacturer championship by two.
