Patch Takes Grand Prix of Maggie Mountain

Patch captured the Grand Prix of Maggie Mountain Wednesday night in a mini re-match of sorts for two of the series' top drivers Patch and Spike. Last year drivers took these same cars to the track for a two hour endurance special event where Patch finished third and Spike eleventh. This time around Patch dominated leading the most laps while capturing the fastest lap award and driving into victory lane. Spike drove hard trying to catch and pass Patch but had to settle for second just one second back. puttzracer captured his first series pole award and held on to finish third just eight seconds back. Grumpy and BlackKnight followed to round out the top five.

While Patch cut Spike's lead in the driver championship, Spike likely captures the series championship in his TMS Wolfpack Cadillac by just two points pending reviews. Patch was eight points back entering the final race. KartRacer63 missed the event and drops from second to third. TMS Wolfpack likely captured the team championship with drivers Donaldson and Spike by just two points over single-car team Twisted Metal with driver Patch after overtaking NH Autosport in the final event. Chevrolet pulls out the manufacturer championship after picking up their third win to end the season. Chevrolet ends in second with two wins.
