GTSVip9 kept his #91 Pennzoil Platinum NH Autosport Ford clean on his way to victory Sunday night during the 2015 Cup Series Championship opener, the Daytona 200 presented by DusterLag. GTSVip9 started ninth but spent the night near the front of the pack along with his other NH Autosport team drivers, earning the Hard Charger Award. DusterLag led the most lap and finished the race second chasing GTSVip9 after receiving a black flag during final pit stops. KartRacer63 finished third chasing GTSVip9 with DusterLag after also speeding and receiving a black flag during the final round of pit stops. Speedyman11, who won Qualifier Race 1 and started the race third, finished fourth with ltfireman1604 following in fifth. BlackKnight started on the pole and spent most of the night at the front but pit road mistakes left his dropping through the field. Despite receiving the Headache Award and finishing eighth, BlackKnight did pick up the Fastest Lap Award.
GTSVip9 begins the year with a two points lead over DusterLag in the driver championships with fifteen drivers within seventeen points. NH Autosport leads TMS Wolfpack by five points in the team championship. Ford picks up the the win and leads the manufacturer championship.
