Speedyman11 Sweeps Bowman Gray Heat and Feature

Speedyman11 swept both the Heat and Feature races Friday night at Bowman Gray during the series first visit to the track. BlackKnight started on pole for the Heat race and held back Speedy for the first seven laps but the #11 car worked his way by Black and led the remaining twenty-three laps. Black finished second in the Heat followed by Donaldson, ltfireman1604 and Spike. With his Heat race win - Speedyman11 started on pole of a three-wide start for the Feature race and quickly took a comfortable lead. Speedy led all sixty laps in his #11 TMS Wolfpack car while picking up the fastest lap award along the way. Donaldson came in second with Spike, ltfireman1604 and puttzracer rounding out the top five. BlackKnight started second but caught the in-field with his left-front tire a few too many times and ended up three laps down in eighth along with his two other NH Autosport team mates, the entire team struggled throughout the night. Speedyman11 leads the driver, paved and oval championships over puttzracer by twelve points after the second night of events and thirteen points over ltfireman1604. TMS Wolfpack leads the team championship by eighteen over NH Autosport and Team Speed Brigade who are tied for second. The series makes it first trip on the Charlotte Legends Car track, a quarter mile flat oval in the shadow of the Charlotte Motor Speedway front stretch.
