Speedyman11 captured his second HROC Series victory of the 2015 season Friday night at Texas Motor Speedway driving in the Platinum G3 Cup Series mod. Grumpy started on pole via random draw but couldn't hold off the other strong drivers to lead any laps. Speedy picked up the Fastest Lap and Hard Charger awards after leading nineteen laps on his way to victory. BlackKnight picked up the Most Laps Led award after leading twenty throughout the night, finishing the race second with an eleven second margin to Speedy. Spike finished third with Breeze and Grumpy rounding out the top five. Grumpy post-race... "Well it wasn't the race we were looking to have with the #7 Flying J / Pilot Chevrolet. It did the driver good to get back in the seat, just to run some laps and have fun."
The final round, Round 5, of the 2015 HROC Series takes place next month on Friday July 24th at the Long Beach street circuit in the Platinum G3 Grand Am mod.
