Dalmission Kentucky 120 Captured by Donaldson

Donaldson captured the pole award, running his fast lap early during open qualifying. Don maintained that lead throughout most of the Dalmission Kentucky 120 event Saturday night and captured his third win this season for his #5 Pepsi Max TMS Wolfpack team. Don led 62 of the 80 laps during the race, holding off DusterLag. DusterLag captured the fastest lap award but couldn't make up enough ground after receiving a penalty for speeding and sliding through his pit box during the first round of stops. Duster finished in second position, eleven seconds back, after reentering the race twenty-eight seconds behind the leader Donaldson.

Fordly56 had a strong run in his #2 Team Penske Ford, finishing third after leading six laps. Fellow team member BillyGood was close behind finishing fourth after starting second. Breeze finished the race fifth.

Despite not capturing a win this season - DusterLag moves into the championship lead after Speedyman11 missed the race. Speedy is just two points behind DusterLag thanks to his dominating performance during the first half of the year. Just seven races remain before the first championship reset and Redimuss is sits thirteenth in the driver standings, just twelve points from GTSVip9 and the coveted twelfth position. Red is working his way up through the field as he races to make the top twelve, only twelve drivers will advance in the first reset. TMS Wolfpack leads the team championship by twenty-seven points over NH Autosport who drops three points. Chevrolet captured their twelfth victory this season and continues to dominate the season as they lead the manufacturer championship over Ford with two wins and Toyota with only one.
