KartRacer63 dominated the Heat and Feature events at Bloomington Friday driving his #3 NH Autosport car. Kart's victory means Speedyman11's seven consecutive victory streak ends and we finally have another feature winner during the 2015 season. Kart worked his way up five positions in the heat race and held off Speedy to win placing him on the pole for the feature race. During the feature Speedy put the pressure on Kart. Speedy picked up the fastest lap award and led 39 of the 50 laps but Kart was able to hold Speedy off at the end to capture his first LCHRL victory by nine-tenths. Spike, BlackKnight and DusterLag round the top five.
Two races remain and though Speedyman11 did not win at Bloomington, he did finish a strong second and continues to lead the driver championships by an incredible sixty-five points over BlackKnight - a nearly three race lead. Pending reviews Speedyman11 has likely captured the 2015 LCHRL Championship. Speedy leads Spike by twenty-eight points in the dirt championship and by forty-nine points in the oval championship which pending reviews he has captured. TMS Wolfpack leads the team championship by an ever growing fifth-three points over NH Autosport.
