DusterLag Dominates actlabs11 Kansas 120

DusterLag dominated the actlabs11 Kansas 120 Saturday after capturing the pole award during open qualifying, leading 63 of the 80 laps and earning the fastest lap award. Pit strategy from the #01 Oakhurst Dairy Ford NH Autosport team allowed them to nearly lap the entire field and capture victory with a twenty-seven second margin. ltfireman1604 had a strong run and finished second followed by Fordly56 in third.

Fordly led eleven laps and was the last car on the lead lap... "What a fun race this was! Evenly matched drivers and a race format to allow you to make your stand on the track instead of in the pits. DusterLag had a fantastic run and deserved the win by ten fold, but I think even he would say that until he saw the white flag, from beginning to end, it was anyone's race. BillyGood got a great start and had a strong run going but a mishap in the pits put him back a bunch. Because of the race format he had enough green flag laps to recoup most of what he lost so our team still managed to pull off a couple more top fives. So I've got to say this was the most fun race I've had yet this season."

Breeze picked up the hard charger award after starting eighth and finishing fourth. BillyGood looked to have second place locked in until pit strategy and pit road mistakes sent him back in the field to a fifth place finish. Billy unfortunately earned the headache award.

KartRacer63 missed the race and was interviewed afterwards... "Well, this weekend was a disappointment for the #63 NH Autosport team. We forgot to come to the track, for one. Then the cable cut out, so we couldn't even watch it. Oh well, there's always next week."

Speedyman11 missed the race but continues to lead the driver championship by nineteen points over DusterLag with ltfireman1604 and Fordly56 within twenty-eight points. Five races remain before the first championship reset. Redimuss now sits thirty-six points ahead of GTSVip9 in the final reset position. Only twelve drivers will advance in the first championship reset. TMS Wolfpack leads the team championship by twenty-six points over NH Autosport. Ford picked up their third win of the season but Chevrolet continues to dominate the season as they lead the manufacturer championship with thirteen wins over Ford with three and Toyota with one.
