KartRacer63 captured his fourth Cup Series victory of 2015 Saturday night at DaveO's 80 at The Glen. Kart captured the pole award during the fifteen minute open qualifying session within the first five minutes and dominated the race in his #63 E Henderson Graphics Chevrolet entry from NH Autosport. Kart earned the fastest lap award and led 30 of 33 laps. Kart has won at both road course events of the season including earlier this year at Sonoma Raceway. Donaldson raced hard throughout the night but came up short, finishing second - nineteen seconds back. DusterLag finished second followed by Breeze and Spike. "Given the way I feel about road courses, the best I can say is I'm glad this one is in my rear-view at least for another year! The crew of the #2 Penske Racing Ford came ready to race, but the driver let them down. Having never run a road course in Cup before, I guess we did okay this season. Got a top five in the first one and finished right where we started in this one. Our hats are off to KartRacer, the only time I saw him on the track was when he lapped me but I saw the replay and it looks like he ran a flawless race!" said Fordly56 post-race. Fordly finished eighth, the first car one lap down. Speedyman11 missed his second consecutive race but continues to lead the driver championship by eight points over DusterLag, down from nineteen points last week, with ltfireman1604 and Fordly56 within twenty-four points. Just four races remain before the first championship reset and Redimuss is feeling more comfortable with a thirty-six point over GTSVip9 in the final reset position. Only twelve drivers will advance in the first championship reset. TMS Wolfpack leads the team championship by twenty points over NH Autosport. Chevrolet picked up their fourteenth win of the year thanks to KartRacer63 and continues to dominate the season as they lead the manufacturer championship with fourteen wins over Ford with three and Toyota with one. The Rockingham UK Tour presented by ucrdoh takes place Saturday August 15th for 100 laps on the 1.479 mile oval. Open qualifying begins at 9pm ET.
