Speedyman11 Sweeps 2015 Bristol Victories, Dominating The Bristol

After capturing the spring Bristol victory Speedyman11 followed up Saturday night with a dominating performance at the Bristol "Take Two" 99 presented by KartRacer63. DusterLag edged out Speedy during open qualifying to capture the pole award but he couldn't hold it long. Speedy led 175 of the 186 laps and took home the fastest lap award while capturing his seventh win of the season for TMS Wolfpack. Duster finished second with BillyGood and Fordly56 finishing third and fourth.

"I had hoped for a better finish on one of my favorite tracks but am fine with another forth place finish. Got a bad start when I had to nail the brakes ... in order not to rear-end my teammate! So ended up caught in a traffic jam but then with some steady consistent laps managed to work my way up into the clear. The [NH Autosport and] Penske teams ran great with four out of the top five. Duster did what Duster does, ran great! BillyGood didn't listen to his crew chief, that would be me!, and took four on his first pit allowing him to run to a fast clean third. I went head to head with BlackKnight a couple of times during the race and knew he was headed for another good finish. So all in all it was a good race and with two to go we will all go to the next level. Right?"

"What a terrible night for the Chick-fil-A team. Started out towards the back, then had some issues resulting in heavy damage. Had something that seemed to be working after the first pit stop, then went the wrong way on adjustments on stop 2, and by the end of the race the car just wouldn't turn any more. I'm glad that Bristol is in the rear view, it's not one of my good tracks and tonight was a spectacularly bad run. Time to move on to Darlington and look for a better finish there."

Speedyman11 gains four points over on DusterLag in the driver championship with ltfireman1604 nineteen points back. Only two races remain before the first championship reset and Redimuss holds the final reset position. Only twelve drivers will advance in the first championship reset. TMS Wolfpack leads the team championship by eighteen points over NH Autosport, up from fourteen last week. Chevrolet picked up their sixteenth win of the year thanks to Speedyman11 as they continue to dominate the season and lead the manufacturer championship over Ford with three wins and Toyota with one win.
