Sucahyo Richmond Reset Countdown 90 Captured by Speedyman11


The final regular season championship event took place Saturday night, the Sucahyo Richmond Reset Countdown 90 began with Fordly56 edging out Speedyman11 for the pole with a 21.820 second lap vs Speedy's 21.832. Fordly held on to the lead lap but finished in the second position after leading twenty laps.

Speedyman11 handily led 99 laps of the 120 lap event and captured his ninth victory of the 2015 season. Speedy managed to put the most of the field from third position back at least two laps down by the checkered flag. After starting in the rear of the field BillyGood and Donaldson fought their way through the field to finish third and fourth with puttzracer finished fifth.

The first championship reset has occurred and the first three race segment begins Saturday. Following the Richmond race all drivers in the top twelve had their points reset to 1000 plus 1 bonus point for each pole award and win. With his incredible nine wins and nine poles during the regular season - Speedyman11 ends the regular season and enters the first segment as the championship leader with eighteen bonus points. KartRacer63 jumps from tenth to second with ten bonus points. Fordly56, Donaldson and DusterLag finish the top five with four bonus points each. At the end of the next three races the top six drivers will once again be reset and compete for the championship during segment 2.

TMS Wolfpack leads the team championship by thirty-one points over NH Autosport, up from twenty-three last week. With Speedy's win Chevrolet picked up their eighteenth win of the year. Chevrolet continues to dominate the season and lead the manufacturer championship over Ford with three wins and Toyota with one win.
