Drivers assembled for the 2015 NASCAR Heat Community Awards Winner Festival Saturday night during NASCAR Heat's 15th Anniversary. In alignment with community voting, this years festival was held at the Rockingham UK Oval track by Smoke and The Mod Squad using DaveO and The Mod Squad's new Camping World Truck Series mod. The event was run in Normal (Arcade) mode with open session qualifying in the theme of the Arcade Racing League who picked up the League of the Year award.
Speedyman11 started in the pole position as the 2015 NHCA Driver of the Year and puttzracer, the 2015 NHCA Rookie of the Year, started on the outside pole. During open qualifying DusterLag ran a 38.502 second lap, the fastest time during the session, and started third as the first driver set by time.
Speedy and Duster spent the first half of the race swapping the lead after pulling away from the other trucks. After DusterLag began to suffer on worn tires, Speedy lead 56 of 80 laps and earned the fastest lap time with a 38.429 second lap. Speedyman11 held onto the lead from the mid-point until captured the victory during his first Winner Festival start.
