Donaldson Captures Daytona 100, 2016 T-Bone National Series Championship Season Opener

The 2016 T-Bone National Series Championship Season Opener, the Daytona 100, began with open qualifying. ltfireman1604 held the pole at the half-way point and held it through the remainder of the session, earning the pole award with a 44.280 second lap. ltfireman1604 managed to hold onto the lead at the drop of the green flag while the field worked into a single file line. Following pit stops DusterLag inherited the lead along with Speedyman11 but it did not last long after Donaldson moved his way to the lead with help from ltfireman1604 and Redimuss. Donaldson managed to hold onto the lead until the end of the race as the top 5 draft of ltfireman1604, Redimuss, DusterLag and Speedyman11 bumped and battled hard behind. At the checkered Speedy managed to work his way from fifth in line to finish second by himself on the outside, crossing the line on his roof and bouncing off the wall. ltfireman1604 finished third with Redimuss fourth and DusterLag fifth.
