Breeze Captures Second Career Cup Victory at Pocono Getaway 130

Breeze captured his second career ARL Cup Series victory Saturday night, winning the Pocono Getaway 130 in the #79 Team Speed Brigade Ford on a final lap shootout. KartRacer63 captured the pole award with a 51.438 second lap over Donaldson who qualified second. While Kart led early, Donaldson moved into the lead for the majority of laps. A late caution setup a one lap shootout, when the green flag restarted the race wrecking began. Donaldson and KartRacer63 bounced off each other a few times allowing Breeze to move into the lead. Donaldson recovered before turn 3 and pushed his car hard trying to catch the lead but Breeze held strong and captured the victory. Donaldson finished second with Redimuss third, Kart fourth and ltfireman1604 fifth. Speedyman11 and Breeze sit at the top of the championship standings with 11 races remaining before round 1 of the championship begins. 12 drivers will move onto round 1 after Richmond. TMS Wolfpack holds an incredible 302 point lead in the team championship over NH Autosport, any chance of TMS Wolfpack loosing the team championship, even with 20 races remaining, appears impossible. Race 13 of the 2016 Patch Cup Series season will be at Michigan Speedway for the Great Lakes 140 on June 11th beginning at 10:30pm ET, 2:30 UTC. View complete results here.
