Rookiesrock Wins Daytona 100 presented by T-Bone

The T-Bone National Series kicked off the 2017 championship season Saturday night with the Daytona 100 presented by T-Bone at Daytona International Speedway. Rookiesrock captured the pole position with a 47.129 second lap during the series return to single-car qualifying.

Rookie led most of the first segment, only relinquishing the lead during pit stops. At the end of the segment Rookiesrock was leading with ltfireman1604 and puttzracer in second and third, all picking up championship bonus points under this years new system.

Rookie continued to dominate the race with help from TMS Wolfpack team member Speedyman11 who was a lap down as the field charged them down. In the end it was Rookiesrock who captured the season-opener Daytona 100 victory, leading 27 of 40 laps, driving the #48 TMS Wolfpack Lowe's Chevrolet.

DusterLag followed in second position, Redimuss in third, KartRacer63 fourth and puttzracer fifth.

Rookie begins the driver championship season with a 6 point lead over DusterLag thanks to bonus points. TMS Wolfpack begins the year with a 6 point lead over NH Autosport: Orange in the team championship while Chevrolet opens the manufacturer championship with their victory.
