Speedyman11 Captures 3rd Consecutive Victory, Wins North Carolina 160

Speedyman11 captured his third consecutive Patch Cup Series win Saturday night at the North Carolina 160. Speedy started the night on top, capturing the pole award with a 22.396 second lap. Speedy also led 119 of 157 laps and earned the fastest lap award with a 22.401 second lap during the race in his #11 Wrangler TMS Wolfpack Chevrolet. lepage71 started ninth but finished in the second position, earning the hard charger award for NHRL Racing Toyota team. Rookiesrock finished third with ltfireman1604 and BlackKnight rounding out the top five. Speedyman11 increases his driver championship lead from 12 points to 21 over ltfireman1604 who remains in second. BlackKnight moves into third, 36 points from the leader. TMS Wolfpack increases their point lead in the team championship to 21 points over affiliate TMS Wolfpack II while NH Autosport: Team Black moves into third. Chevrolet continues to lead the manufacturer championship with four wins while Ford and Toyota have yet to earn a victory. You can watch the qualifying session replay here and the race replay here.
