DusterLag 5th Different Winner in 5 Races, Wins Sierra Nevada 80

DusterLag captured his first win of the 2017 T-Bone National season Saturday night driving the #01 ARL Ford Mustang for NH Autosport: Team Orange at the Auto Club Speedway Sierra Nevada 80. When the green flag flew DusterLag dominated, leading 33 of 40 laps, including leading at the end of segment 1. Duster's win makes him the fifth different winner in five races so far this season. ltfireman1604 finished second, Donaldson ninth, Speedyman11 fourth and puttzracer fifth. KartRacer63 started on the pole with a 41.129 second lap and earned the fastest lap award with a 40.686 second lap, but struggled toward the end of the race and finished seventh and picking up the headache award. Drama ensued at the end of the race when Speedyman11 turned sharp right, pushing Donaldson into the outside wall, an incident that may shake up the finishing order when reviews are completed. DusterLag overtakes Speedyman11 in the driver championship standings, leading by two points. KartRacer63 sits in the third position, four points out of the lead. TMS Wolfpack continues to lead the team championship but drops from a seven point lead to just one point over NH Autosport: Team Orange. Meanwhile Ford picked up their second win of the season, tying the manufacturer championship lead with Chevrolet. Toyota is the only team without a victory in 2017. View complete results here. After a week off, race 5 of the 2017 season is the The Mod Squad Superdome 70 at the Taylor Swift Superdome on Saturday, April 8th at 8pm ET. The Patch Cup Series will still be racing this Saturday for race 6 of the 2017 season, the Virginia 150 at Martinsville Speedway, April 1st at 9:30pm ET.
