Speedyman11 Sweeps Up At The Glen, Dominates Seneca Lake 90 at The Glen

Fresh off his T-Bone National Series victory and hour prior, Speedyman11 dominated the Patch Cup Series event at Watkins Glen. Speedy dominated Saturday night's Seneca Lake 90 at The Glen - starting on the pole with a 1:9.423, running the fastest race lap with a 1:8.985 and led 34 of 37 laps. No other driver broke past the 1:11 lap times. The win is Speedy and the #11 TMS Wolfpack Chevrolet team's 13th of 2017 and 49th career Patch Cup victory. Rookiesrock finished the race in second, 31 seconds behind the winner. DusterLag ended the night third with ltfireman1604 in fourth with the hard charger award and JessRathbun earning a strong fifth place finish. With 4 races remaining before the first round of the championship reset DusterLag and the #01 NH Autosport team appear to be locked in to the top 12, meanwhile JRich and Redimuss could have a tight battle to make it in. TMS Wolfpack with drivers Rookiesrock and Speedyman11 hold the team championship lead by 41 points over NH Autosport: Team Black with drivers BlackKnight, Grumpy and KartRacer63. Chevrolet looks to continue their manufacturer championship domination in the series, heading towards their 6th championship with 18 wins this season so far, meanwhile Toyota has 1 win and Ford has yet to earn a win.
