BlackKnight Captures Win Under Caution at the 2019 Patch Cup Welcome Race

BlackKnight captured the first ARL Patch Cup victory of 2019 Saturday night under caution following two drivers making passes under the yellow flag. Following a late-race caution coming to the white flag, the race would come to an end under yellow with BlackKnight leading. However as the field came to take the checkered flag - Bandit and GTSVip9 drove past the field, illegally passing several cars under caution, to take the checkered flag. Both drivers were disqualified from the event and moved to the end of the race results order. ARL Officials announced shortly after the race that both drivers will be on probation through March 31st. BlackKnight captured the win with viagra6car, DusterLag, Rookiesrock and Speedyman11 rounding out the top five. Rookiesrock earned the pole award with a 45.815 second lap and led the most laps (21). Speedyman11 and Rookiesrock shared the Fastest Lap award with a 44.088 second lap. Up next is the 2019 Daytona 200 presented by Patch on Saturday, February 23rd.
