| Pocono Getaway Twin 100's - Race 2 Victory Goes to Speedyman11 |

For the first time the Patch Cup Series ran two consecutive twin races at Pocono Raceway, Rookiesrock captured the victory at race 1 Saturday night but it was Speedyman11 who would prevail Sunday night. Speedy dominated Sunday night's Pocono Getaway Twin 100's from the start.. picking up the fastest lap award, winning segment 2 and leading more than half the race in the #11 TMS Wolfpack Chevrolet. Bandit won segment 1 and finished second. Rookiesrock followed in third with lepage71 and DusterLag rounding out the top five. Redimuss started on the pole based on an inversion from race 1 but struggled throughout the event and finished ninth. With six races remaining before the first round of playoffs the championship has shaken up again. In a surprise turn of events both GTSVip9 and KartRacer63 have dropped outside the top 10 while Redimuss and CR49 have taken their place. On Sunday July 5th Patch Cup Series drivers head to Indy for the 2020 Brickyard 200 at 9pm ET. View complete results here. |
