Well folks, it’s been an interesting season so far to say the least. We’ve raced seven races and have three different winners. The competition has been close from the start. At Charlotte, Donaldson would win the pole and lead the most laps with Cracin coming in a close 2nd. Martinsville would be the next track Hardcore Motorsports would run and the "Paperclip" would have some great racing. There were a "few" cautions …yeehaw, but the end result would be the number 5 dominating the race leading 87 circuits. Patch would come in 2nd and Dracin would lead 18 laps and round out the top three. The Miami race would have a different "tone". Pole sitter Patch would be looking for his first win and T-Bone would also be looking to capitalize on Donaldson’s absence. Patch would end the race in first position and TBone would end in second place “but I gotta tell ya...that was a blast of a good race". Night Chicago Land … huh... what can I say? Patch would sit on the pole for the 2nd race in a row and have T-Bone breathing down his neck. But after the fog cleared the 26 Budweiser would be in 5th position. T-Bone would win his first race of the season with Dracin having a great run coming in 2nd. New driver Andy C would round out the top three drivers in this event. The Hardcore Motorsports drivers now would compete on a road course, Watkins Glen. This was a good race for the drivers to test their car handling skills alone with some good patience. The pole was set by Patch who would break the record for continued poles set by Donaldson earlier with Patch in 3. In this race T-bone would lead 13 laps and take the victory. Ucrdoh would come in second with Dracin getting another top 3 run. The "Tricky Triangle" was also a little tricky on the track. The return of Donaldson’s and T-Bone’s rivalry at this point of the season…left Donaldson 4 points behind T-Bone in the points. Even though both drivers are in the chase it is important to get those wins. Donaldson would win Pocono and T-Bone would finish in 2nd. And for three races in a row who do you think was in the top 3? Yup that’s right… Dracin rounds out the top 3 at Pocono. This leads us to the race before the break....Night Vegas. With a good amount of starters in the field the two top contenders didn’t seem to be rattled at all. Donaldson would come into that race ridding high. He would win his 4th pole out of 7 races. He would win the race and win the most laps. T-Bone would come in 2nd…again, but he would have the fastest lap of the race. DusterLag would round out the top 3 drivers.
