DusterLag Wins in Tight 4-Way Battle; 5th Different Winner


DusterLag captured the win in a tight four-way battle Friday night at Las Vegas. It would prove challenging to hold the lead at Las Vegas as cars pushed up the track in the corners and drivers tried to merge back together after spreading across the wide front-stretch. DusterLag obtained the lead with a push from fellow team driver Spike around the outside with 9 laps to go as Donaldson and lepage71 battled for position low. Donaldson, lepage71, Spike and Patch wrap up the top five. With DusterLag's win there have now been five different winners in five races this season! DusterLag increases his lead in the driver championship to seven points over Donaldson. Spike moves into third position, sixteen points behind the leader. NHRL Racing swaps back into the team championship lead over Twisted Metal with sole driver lepage71. lepage71 impressively has been able to lead the team championship without being scored for two events due to his terrific finishes.
