DusterLag captured victory Friday night during the controversial Daytona event, the first LCHRL visit to the track. After a 170mph pace lap the race was off as drivers fought to keep their cars under control. DusterLag was the fastest car and led the 15 of 20 laps. GTSVip9 finished second barley holding off Donaldson who finished third as the only other driver to lead a lap. Grumpy and Breeze followed wrapping up the top five. The race remains controversial throughout the community and league administration has a lot to consider before deciding if future events will occur at the track. View complete results here. |
