Spike picked up his second Rally Course victory Friday night at Rally Grip after dominating the Heat and Feature races. Spike led every lap of the night and picked up the fastest lap by more than three seconds. cruisectrl ran close finishing second just eight seconds back followed by Patch, Breeze and ltfireman1604.
Donaldson's driver championship lead over DusterLag drops to fifteen points and the championship is all but a lock for him should he make the final two events. Spike likely picks up the dirt championship after winning both events this season with a fifteen point lead over Patch. Meanwhile Patch likely picks up the road championship by just one point over Spike with no wins. Both of these championships are pending reviews and if no penalties are issued. NH Autosport continues to lead the team championship over SpeedSims Racing by fourteen points which dropped from twenty-two points after a poor performance from DusterLag.
