Donaldson captured victory during race two of the 2013 Cup Series at Las Vegas beginning a winning streak as DusterLag ran out of fuel. DusterLag would lead the most laps and run the fastest race lap but poor pit strategy left him short on fuel by half a lap after conserving and giving up the lead during the final run, he would coast across the line in second. Patch captured the pole award but struggled to find speed during the race, he would finish third. Donaldson increases his lead in the drivers championship, now seven points over DusterLag, while JB0007 failed to start or utilize a provisional and falls from second to tenth in the standings. Twisted Metal (Donaldson & Patch) takes the team championship lead over Cyber Racing (DusterLag & Grumpy) after Donaldson captured his win and Grumpy struggled with a sixth place finish.
