Donaldson captured the win Saturday night at Kansas SP after bubbadodge blocked leader DusterLag in the final turn of the final lap. Qualifying showed us just how competitive this race would be as DusterLag would capture the pole by just one thousandth of a second over Donaldson. Multiple pit strategies allowed five drivers to lead laps with no clear dominator but after final pit stops were completed by all drivers Donaldson and DusterLag were at the front. DusterLag was able to catch and drive by Donaldson in what appeared to be an easy victory until a lap car, bubbadodge, pulled straight up the track from the apron blocking DusterLag in the final turn of the final lap allowing Donaldson to drive by to victory as DusterLag finished close behind in second. GTSVip9 and ucrdoh also had strong runs finishing third and fourth while Breeze powered to a fifth place finish. Donaldson maintains the driver championship lead by two points over DusterLag while Patch and blackknight trail by twenty-one and twenty-six respectively.
