Donaldson prevailed from an intense 3-way battle with DusterLag and GTSVip9 Saturday night to capture the win at Talladega SP. Donaldson captured the pole award in his #5 Family Guy Chevrolet by half a second over GTSVip9 making this his second pole of the season and fifth win in six races. 3-Wide racing and partner swapping in the closing laps setup DusterLag to win but a final lap final turn outside pass by Donaldson left DusterLag second and GTSVip9 third. Patch and Toward27 wrap up the top five. Donaldson increases his lead in driver championship to five points over DusterLag and twenty-seven over Patch.
