DusterLag captured victory Saturday night in his #01 TWiT.tv Ford at the ROLL TIDE Talladega 144. DusterLag and his NH Autosport teammate Grumpy spent the race with their bumpers locked until the closing laps when Grumpy bailed to take the lead with Spike. Grumpy captured the pole position, led the most laps and captured the fastest lap award but suffered with poor fuel mileage - sputtering on the final stretch to the checkered flag with Spike stuck behind opening the door for DusterLag. Spike finished second followed by Grumpy, Patch and blackknight. racingrick made a return to the series, making his first start since 2012, sticking it out to finish eighth.
DusterLag increases his championship lead to seven points over Patch and fourteen over Grumpy. ltfireman1604 makes another move towards the top ten, the top ten drivers will have their championship points reset with eight races to go before a second reset with four races to go. NH Autosport leads the team championship by four more points, now forty-eight, over the single-car Twisted Metal entry. Chevrolet leads the manufacturer championship over Ford with five wins.
