Patch Captures Smoke Sonoma 70 Victory

Patch finally captured a victory in 2014, dominating the Smoke Sonoma 70 where he led every lap in his #26 Twisted Metal Chevrolet SS. Patch kicked off the night by capturing the pole and continued to sweep up the field with a dominating fast lap. Patch had struggled to prevail this season with mistakes and bad luck creating challenges week after week but the night could not have gone better for the two-time Sports Car Series Champion. cruisectrl made an impressive run and finishing second followed by championship leader DusterLag. Lee606 in forth during his first league start and Grumpy in fifth.

DusterLag holds the championship lead with seven races to the first reset with Patch trailing in second. GTSVip9 missed the event but falls to ninth and could be at risk of dropping out of the top ten if he missed too many more before the reset. cruisectrl continues to push his way up the standings, now up to twelfth, as he hopes to make the reset cutoff - he is currently 57 points outside. NH Autosport leads the team championship by sixty-four over Twisted Metal while Chevrolet picks up one more win to again lead the manufacturer championship with Ford in second.
