cruisectrl captured his first career Cup Series victory Saturday night at T-Bone's 80 at The Glen after capturing the Sports Car race victory earlier in the day. cruisectrl started on pole and proceeded to lead all thirty-three laps of the race and run the fastest lap of the race. Patch followed in second with Spike, ltfireman1604 and Grumpy rounding out the top five. Mcc457 also made his first league start and finished seventh, just two laps down.
DusterLag leads the championship by five points over Patch with just two races to the first reset of the season. Currently the resets sits with Donaldson leading followed by GTSVip9, DusterLag and Patch. cruisectrl gets more comfortable in the top ten after picking up a pole and win. NH Autosport leads the team championship by eighty-two over single-car team Twisted Metal while Chevrolet leads the manufacturer championship with twelve wins over Ford with six.
