Fordly56 Captures First Career Victory at the Bristol \"Take Two\" 88

\r\n\r\nFordly56 captured his first career victory Saturday night at the Bristol \"Take Two\" 88, the Cup Series\' second visit to the track in 2014. Patch picked up the pole and led 112 of the 166 laps of the night but contact and damage from rookie driver Mcc457 late in the race allowed Fordly56 to drive away to victory, Patch finished second. DusterLag finished third followed by ltfireman1604 and BlackKnight who picked up the fastest lap award. Fordly56 lapped the entire field except for Patch and also picked up the hard charger award after starting from the rear due to a penalty from a previous week. Grumpy suffered throttle issues and was unable to complete a single lap.\r\n\r\nDusterLag leads the championship by one point over Patch with one race until the first reset of the season. Currently the resets stands as follows: Donaldson leading followed by GTSVip9, Patch and DusterLag. Drivers receive bonus reset points for each win and pole they earn during the regular season. cruisectrl is now locked into the top ten with Fordly56 left sitting outside despite his victory tonight. NH Autosport leads the team championship by seventy-eight over Twisted Metal while Chevrolet leads the manufacturer championship with twelve wins over Ford with seven.\r\n\r\nView complete results here.
