ok i have searched for a reasonable answer to this with no luck. I start a dedicated server. all sets and starts fine. I connect two clients to it and go for a race. when race starts I have some red AI cars others have paint but are totally Picasso. Fun but not what I am looking for. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong with my server setup or the G3 Mod. Any help would be great. If I can resolve this I will eventually list my server on heatfinder.

Thanks

If you are planning to race with AI cars you must ensure your dedicated server is running under the correct mod to which you plan to race the AI cars with.

Also there is an additional special circumstances for these "multi-mod" mod's.

For example, if you want to run the COTPlatinumG3 mod with the 2017 Monster Cup addon you must first "Swap" the 2017 Monster Cup addon using the Mod Launcher's carset swapper or copying the drivers.txt and paints.res files from the carsets folder to the main mod folder.

Then you need to launch your dedicated server under that mod by adding

-mod:COTPlatinumG3

to the target box of your dedicated server shortcut. This is Step 9 here.

Also every driver connected to the server must also be running the exact same mod and exact same carset for this to work.

Hope this helps.

BTW, I also wanted to make sure you received my reply PM on the ARL site about TeamSpeak. If you had any other issues let me know!
