2014 Pole Shootout Race/All Star Race |

DusterLag took home the Pole Shootout victory last year while Donaldson made the race winning pass against CR49 on the very last lap to win the all-star event, who will win this years events? I have tentative dates for these special events (looking at February 7th & 8th back to back nights, say 9:00 PM EST), i don't think any leagues have anything going on those days. Basically anyone who won a pole or won a race last year (jan - dec 2013) will be eligible to participate, please let me know if you are suppose to be on the listing and i will double check. I think i got everyone. Basically I'm asking for input as to what settings do you guys wanna race under? The tracks will be G3-Daytona_SP for Pole Shootout and G3-Charlotte_SP for the all star race in the G3 CUP mod. But what do you guys want for wear factor and race mode (normal, expert, hardcore?), fixed setups? open setups? Want open qualifying or random grid starts? I would prefer wear factor 3x or 4x. Expert or Hardcore mode. Open setups. Random start at Daytona. The start at Charlotte would depend on the race length. If the length is long enough to start in back and have a shot at driving forward then random but if not then Qualifying. With all the possible entries this could set a record for largest race. |

Im in. I would like to see HARDCORE mode, of course, 3 times wear and open sets. Let the best set and driver win. |

I'm also for Hardcore mode but think that Identical sets would better fix the series intention (IROC). I've always likes the higher wears, 6x would be my choice but I know it wouldn't be popular. |

thanks for the input, I'll give it a few more days on the forums from everywhere else and announce a decision. For the actual HROC series itself, I'll make another announcement about that once these 2 events are over. I'd say 50% of the names on the list are the online bangers guys which tend to don't race anything but dirt. hopefully guys like toward, ryano, affro can pull some over to race. Would be nice to see 15 - 20 car fields again. |

because these are just 1 time events per year, i would prefer if everyone just used an in game car only..you may use any # you want and multiple people can have the same #. No need to request a # or anything just show up with whatever # you wanna run. |
