On Friday at 9:30 P.M., I was keeping a close watch on the time. I watched as the seconds slowly ticked off, worried that I might miss a good deal of greatly needed practice sessions. For what felt like the longest 15 minutes of my life, I studied the minute hand as it slowly dragged itself around the clock. As it finally slid to 9:45 P.M. my ordeal ended; I was free of my earlier engagement. I rushed to HeatFinder, still studying the clock, counting the precious seconds that were being lost from the practice races I needed so much. HeatFinder sluggishly loaded. To my horror, the server was empty. "What happened? Are the clocks wrong? Has the race already ended?" Hurriedly, I entered this site to seek an explanation. I found one. I was lucky. I had arrived early. Seven days early, to be precise. However, my forehead wasn't so lucky after I pounded it on the desk for a solid five minutes.

tl;dr: I forgot that we had the week off yesterday, and spent the whole evening worried that I wouldn't make it to the server int time for practice. After getting to the server with little time to spare, I discovered my mistake.

Am I the only one that experiences this?

7 days early. Haha. You sound like me. When my boss would give me a hard time for arriving to work late, I would always tell him I'm early for tomorrow. I once showed up 8 hours late to work once. I punched in, took a sip of coffee, then put my coat back on 5 minutes later as everyone got up to leave.
