2012-13 NHRL CTS Series

Hello everyone, I'm posting here to invite you to our next series. In a few weeks, the NASCAR Heat Racing League will be hosting its second series with the NHRL Truck Series mod. The series will include 12 races on Saturdays at 10:45 PM ET from October 6 to January 19. Last season, we had an exciting competition, with over ten drivers in the hunt for wins and the championship. The main fun, however, is in the diverse mix of drivers we get in each race. We expect more of the same this season.

If interested, please head over to our website to register for the series. Or, feel free to post or email me a question.

We hope to see you out on the track!

We had a great event at Talladega with 20+ drivers in the field. Hammer edged DaveO by just 0.004 seconds, worthy of the fourth-highest position in HeatFinder's closest finishes leaderboard. We expect another thriller tonight at Watkins Glen.

Can Hammer be stopped? After winning his second in a row over a packed house at the Glen, racing resumes tonight at the tight confines of Martinsville.

Last week, DaveO toppled "Hurricane Hammer" in another showdown at Martinsville. Tonight we're heading south to the high speeds of Texas. We hope to see you there!

New weeks, new winners! Bmxtwins won using fuel strategy at Texas, stunning the rest of the field. Next up: Phoenix...tonight.

Count another win for DaveO at Phoenix. Tonight, Dave has to be considered the favorite at close-to-home New Hampshire. Can anyone knock him off his stride?

After a couple of poor results, Hammer scored an important win at New to halt a surging DaveO. Is this a statement or potential championship moment? The points battle is now down to 4. Tonight, in round 7 of 12, much will be at stake on the winding roads of IndyRC T.

Dave came out ready to rock at IndyRC with a 70-second victory over Mustangman. Expect the polar opposite tonight, where those circumstances will change in dramatic fashion. Yes, the NHRL is back at the close confines of Bristol!

At Bristol and Las Vegas, Dave applied his expertise toward new strategies, defeating lepage71 with a combination of speed and smart fuel management. Both of these races continued the theme of close competition and battles right to the finish line. In fact, I ran out of fuel right in front of Dave on the last lap at Vegas!

After a brief Holidays break, the NHRL CTS Series resumes this Saturday the 5th (10:45 PM ET). We'll be visiting the Milwaukee Mile, available for download at SpeedSims.

Registrations are open all season long so we hope to see even more new faces.

lepage71 drove from the back of the field to win a competitive race at Milwaukee. Long runs and tire management proved to be the difference at the technical course. Tonight the league visits Michigan, in what promises to be the most wide-open affair of the season.

Last week, T-bone scored his first official NHRL win at Michigan. Tonight, we conclude another successful CTS Series season at Dover Downs. And with five wins in 11 races, DaveO will drive to his first truck championship.

Thank you to all who contributed to another thrilling series this year. Stay tuned for news about our upcoming NBS Series as we approach February.
