Donaldson captured the 2015 NHCS Stars Pole Shootout victory Saturday night at Daytona International Speedway. After starting fourth based on a random draw Donaldson led seventeen laps of the thirty-eight run during the night. Ten drivers started the race by earning at least one pole award during the 2014 calendar year. BlackKnight put the pressure on by leading eighteen laps and finishing second and putting the pressure on during the final run with help from his NH Autosport team however it was not enough. Grumpy, Patch and ltfireman1604 followed to round out the top five. KartRacer63 pulled the fastest lap award and finished sixth after struggling with tire wear.
