We Need Your Help, An Open Letter to the Heat Community

Dear Heat Community,

We need your help, we appreciate you taking the time to read this open letter and considering our request. HeatFinder has always been and continues to be funded through donations and operated by volunteers. Today we are facing rising monthly and yearly expenses for things like servers, websites, bandwidth, electricity and domains and as a result we are facing possible service level cut backs. With your support, even if it's just $1 per month you can help us improve our service, incentivize developers in our community, increase and improve league racing and ultimately grow our 14 year old Heat Community! We aren't asking for much, consider skipping one morning coffee or one energy drink during the month and donate as little as $1.

Please consider donating as little as $1 a month here...

We are asking for your support through pledges or donations, we have several goals setup on our Patreon page that begin with funding our current monthly expenses. Our first goal is $70/month and is necessary to maintain our current level of services through the next couple months. We are collecting pledges and donations through a great service called Patreon at With Patreon you control how and when your pledge (donation) is made, you can adjust your pledge or remove your pledge at any time. Patreon is a crowdfunding company founded in 2013 in San Fransisco by Jack Conte from Pomplamoose of YouTube fame and is often used by Podcasters, Musicians and Artists to support their creations. Think of it like an ongoing Kickstarter but instead of funding a single project with a single goal and single payout you are pledging an ongoing amount per month (as little as just $1). This pledge can be adjusted or removed at any time. If you want to make a one time donation simply pledge for a month and remove your pledge after your account has been charged. Making your donation (pledge) is quick, simple and requires little information. I have been supporting several tech news podcasts through Patreon and have even placed them on my online racing car paints this year.

Thank You for your time,
