Ending the season how it began - Speedyman11 captured his eighth Sports Car Series victory Sunday night at the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta event. Speedy dominated the race, leading all twenty laps and picking up the fastest lap award after missing qualifying. puttzracer finished second with BlackKnight third. Redimuss captured the pole position by nearly a second but finished fourth, one lap down. Grumpy rounded out the top five.
Pending reviews Speedyman11 has captured the 2015 Sports Car Series Driver Championship! Speedy has captured seven poles, eight wins and ends the season with a sixty point lead over BlackKnight in the driver standings. TMS Wolfpack likely captures the team championship by forty-three points over NH Autosport pending reviews. Pontiac captures the manufacturer championship with eight wins while Porsche ends the season with two. Honda and Ford both end with one win while Chevrolet and Cadillac failed to capture a win this season.
