The 2016 ARL All-Star Race will be run on May 14th 2016 at 9:30pm ET (9pm ET for the All-Star Qualifier). This year we will be running under the Patch Cup Series configuration, including Platinum G3 Cup Series cars in Hardcore mode and 3x wear factor. Schedule 8:30pm ET - Official Practice Sessions 9:15pm ET - All-Star Qualifier 9:30pm ET - Official Practice Sessions 10:00pm ET - All-Star Race All-Star Qualifier Requirements - Any driver, registered or not, who has not won a race in any ARL series can compete. - Winner and second place advances to All-Star Race automatically, League Officials have the ability to advance other drivers based on overall turnout for both events and a fan vote to be determined at race time. All-Star Qualifier Format - Drivers are allowed to qualify during the qualifying session. - 1, 10 lap session green flag session without cautions. All-Star Race Requirements - Race Winners in any ARL Race in any Series are automatically eligible to enter the race. - Advancing drivers from the All-Star Qualifier are allowed to enter the race. All-Star Race Format - Pre-qualified drivers are allowed to qualify during the qualifying session. - Advancing drivers from the All-Star Qualifier are not allowed to qualify during the qualifying session. - Segment lengths have the potential to vary due to uncontrollable circumstances. - Cars between segments will have a standard lineup or inverted lineup re-start based on random decision. - Segment 1, 25 lap green flag session without cautions - Competition Caution at completion of lap 25 for all lead-lap drivers. - Lap 26, All cars will stop on the back-stretch for a minute in memory of Patch, Bill DeVerville, long time Heat Community Member and driver of the #26 car. - Segment 2, 25 lap green flag session without cautions beginning on lap 30. - Competition Caution at completion of lap 55 for all lead-lap drivers. - Segment 3 (Final Segment), 10 lap green flag session without cautions beginning on lap 60.
