Fresh off his T-Bone National Series win at Michigan, Rookiesrock followed it up with a dominating performance at the same track in the Patch Cup Series - winning the Great Lakes 140. Rookie started the event off with another pole award, running a 36.888 second lap, and earned another fastest lap award with a 36.777 second lap time driving the #48 Lowe's TMS Wolfpack Chevrolet. ltfireman1604 managed to lead the most laps, 41 of 70, but at the end of the night it was Rookiesrock who captured the victory with a 14.045 second margin over ltfireman. Michigan was the first race of 2016 run caution free, running the entire race under green. BlackKnight finished third with Breeze and Fordly56 rounding the top five. Race 14 of the Patch Cup Series 2016 season will be at the first road course of the year, Sonoma Raceway, for the Sonoma Valley 70 on June 25th beginning at 10:30pm ET, 2:30 UTC.
