Speedyman11 officially captured the 2016 ARL Smoke Sports Series championship handily, his sixth overall ARL championship and second in the Smoke Sports Series. Speedy dominated all 12 races this season, capturing the pole award and win at every event driving the #11 TMS Wolfpack Pontiac. Speedy ended the season with a 78 point lead over puttzracer. 2016 was Speedy's second season in the series. TMS Wolfpack; consisting of ltfireman1604, puttzracer, Speedyman11 and Spike; captured the 2016 Team Championship. Pontiac earned the Manufacturer Championship thanks to Speedyman11 sweeping all every victory and as their only driver.
Drivers ran a total of 12 races across 10 months during the 2016 season, the season was dominated. 2016 may have had just one driver sweep the wins and poles, but did have 13 drivers participate.
