HeatFinder Leagues announced early Friday morning through its League Officials that significant changes have been made to the league's rulebook that shake up penalty's'. The new penalty system combines the championship and exhibition penalty types, previously drivers would often be issued mostly point penaltys for championship events while mostly time penaltys were issued for exhibition events. Officials spoke about the recent pit road speeding controversy that took place in the ARL Cup Series, stating that the changes are necessary to further create an equal racing environment.
The changes will be in effect for all HeatFinder Leagues including ARL, LCHRL and OWAction starting with this weekends LCHRL and ARL Sports Car Series events April 11th and 12th.
