 Donaldson prevails with victory during the National series debut at G3-Daytona SP after Grumpy receives a pass violation penalty. Grumpy crossed the line as the leader but lap 15 proved more important as a pass below the apron line incurred a one lap penalty. With Donaldson's domination he begins the season with a thirty point lead in the driver championship and his team, Twisted Metal, begins with a five point lead in the team championship.
