Friday night kicked off the ARL Truck Series at none other than G3-N Daytona SP where Cup Series champion Donaldson brought his power to dominate. Donaldson easily cruised by DusterLag on the outside in the closing laps to re-take the lead after leading 25 of 30 laps and capturing the pole award. The #5 Papa Johns Chevrolet was backed up by the 2012 Cup Series Championship crew and team of Twisted Metal who has also been dominating the 2013 Cup Series thus far. DusterLag, Toward27, Patch and Grumpy; who pulled the fastest race lap; wrap up the top five. Donaldson begins the season with a four point lead in the driver championship over DusterLag; five over Grumpy and Toward27.
